Stone has always unveiled its multiple properties to interior designers, general users and persons of good taste, as it can be used almost anywhere and often as an alternative to other materials, while it is sometimes the best choice.

As an example, stone is used for large scale public works: squares, roads, sidewalks, church courtyards, cladding for walls lining streets. garden furnishings and as cladding for facades and curtain walls.
Exterior uses can be enhanced with elements such as curbs. steps. rims for openings, columns, wayside posts, fountains and much more.

In private construction, stones are now used for all external elements: from the sidewalk to the stairs,columns, flowerbeds. walls and even: terrace floors, entranceways, cladding of traditional or ventilated facades, skirting, rustic walls. roofs. complementary elements such as pillars, curbs, steps, etc.
The use of stone as an interior element is just as widespread. All high traffic public areas, such as offices, shops and garages use stone.

In private homes, stone can be used in every room, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, the entranceway and the rooms, using water-repellent treatments that are more appropriate for the various available surfaces such as: natural finish, honed finish, sawn finish, polished finish, sand blasted finish, flamed finish, bush hammered finish, antique finish, scratched finish and brushed finish.
 

Every stone has its own characteristics and therefore the optimal format for each type of stone differs: however, there are two main categories which are irregular polygons and square slabs, the latter of varied sized that can be adapted to differing requirements.

Indoor floors and wall cladding can be provided with the same types of finishing and in numerous colors.
